Award nominees were treated to a decadent evening Oct. 25 at the Ponoka Legion during the 2019 Ponoka and District Chamber of Commerce business awards. In the end, however, only a few could leave with some hardware.

Ponoka dental hygienist gives back with free check up

Kim Green Dental Hygiene spent April 7 taking part in Gift from the Heart. Dental hygienist Kim Green of Kim Green Dental Hygiene Centre took part in a special one-day event organized by the Gift from the Heart organization. Registered dentists and hygienists across the country provided oral health care to individuals who may be financially challenged. Green, along with Cheri Duke helped patients with their dental hygiene.
